Tiered Data Recovery Pricing
We understand that not all recovery needs are the same. There are a number of reasons why you may not be able to access your data. Sometimes it's a serious hardware issue, while others may be a minor defect that's undetectable to the untrained eye.
That is why we have established a new three tiered pricing structure to ensure you are not paying for services you do not require. If your computer will not recognize the drive, but is not making any noticeable noises, it may qualify for tier 1 or 2 pricing*.
-
Tier 1: If initial inspection of hardware determines a basic recovery issue, allowing Disc, Inc. to retrieve the data without scanning the drive or rebuilding partitions, the cost will be $350 plus any required parts to restore the data to a new drive.
-
Tier 2: If extensive scanning or partition building is required in order to recover missing or deleted data, the cost will be $550 plus any required parts to restore the data to a new drive.
If your affected drive is making any noticeable noises upon start up, it may indicate hardware damage or failure. In this case, our technicians will locate the trouble spot and provide a custom quote after their initial evaluation.
What's the next step? Complete the required hard drive recovery or USB recovery forms and bring them in with your hard drive. Evaluations take 2-3 business days, after which, we will contact you with a quote and estimated completion time. How easy is that?
*Note: Tiers as described here are indicative of the most common situations. All recovery jobs are different and can not be accurately diagnosed without being evaluated by our technicians. As always, the initial evaluation is free. If we are not able to recover your data, you will not be charged. If we can recover your data, but you opt against proceeding, a $25 processing fee will apply.
